Arrivals

Check out is at 10am so we can clean and prepare rooms ready for our in-coming guests.   We ask guests staying on in Arnot House to vacate rooms between 10.30 am and 1pm so they can be cleaned and serviced.  All guests are given a room key so they can come and go as they please throughout the day.  Although we live on the premises and are here usually all of the time we are not always available  24 hours a day.     

Parking

Is free to guests for the duration of your stay.   Please park anywhere on Grosvenor Terrace on arrival and we shall give you a free permit to park until 10am on the morning of departure.  We cannot guarantee parking after that time due to the arrival of incoming guests.

Internet Access

Free Wi-Fi is available ; the access code is available on arrival.

Environmental policies

We recycle newspapers, glass etc.  We use LED or low watt bulbs wherever possible and also ask guests to be thoughtful about the environment with regard to water consumption and lights in rooms.  We also source our food stuffs as locally as possible.

Smoking Policy

Arnot House has been a totally non smoking establishment for 18 years and in accordance with government legislation we do not allow smoking in any area of the house.  There will be a £50 surcharge for any guests smoking in their room.

Cancellation Policy

All bookings must be guaranteed by Visa or Mastercard details or by a deposit cheque for the first night.

Seven days notice must be given for a cancellation or we would charge the full amount of the booking unless we can re-let it.
